"Conacul Olarilor" guesthouse has not only the name of our family, Olaru, but also the spirit of our house. The period of construction of the guesthouse was difficult, with many incidents, and the fuel every day was the thought that we are just laying the foundation of a space that includes us all. Nothing sustainable is achieved easily, we used to say when it was hard!
No, our family is not perfect, but in all the mix of emotions and thoughts, we are bound by the desire to be close to each other. We want to find every day more reasons to stay supportive of each other. Not only because of the proverb "blood does not make water".
The walls of the guesthouse and every symbol you will find inside represent the way we want to make the knot that binds us impossible to unravel.
We know that you, the one who steps on our threshold, understand that we have not built just a building, but a story, a place to live many beautiful memories. We have also put the values we believe in, which we have inherited and which we pass on, inscribed on the front door and in us.
Contributing to this condition is the location, Baia de Fier, a commune in Gorj county, Oltenia de sub Munte, with a multitude of places to see and feel. At Baia de Fier is the Muierilor Cave, the first electrified cave in Romania. Also here you can have a unique adventure in our country, in the hammocks placed on the mountains. We are also the first in the number of via-ferrata routes in the country. 🙂
And if we talk about the concept, at the "Casa Olarilor" Guest House we set out to keep the tradition, but not to be outdated. Let's reinterpret traditional symbols, but be authentic. Let's reveal things that have not been talked about for a long time. We have taken everything that the old generations have left us, but we want to make our mark as well.

Iar dacă vorbim despre concept, la Pensiunea ”Conacul Olarilor” ne-am propus să păstrăm tradiția, dar să nu fim învechiți. Să reinterpretăm simboluri tradiționale, dar să fim autentici. Să dezvăluim lucruri de care de mult nu se mai vorbește. Am luat tot ce ne-au lăsat bun vechile generații, dar vrem să ne ne punem și noi amprenta.

Pensiunea ”Casa Olarilor”, este situată în comuna Baia de Fier, județul Gorj, într-o zonă montană, la 700 m altitudine, în preajma unor locuri recunoscute, precum Stațiunea Montană Rânca, peșterile Muierilor și Polovragi, chei, mănăstiri ori sculpturile din piatră ale lui Constantin Brâncuși. Localizarea Pensiunii ”Casa Olarilor” facilitează accesul la sute de trasee turistice, via-ferrata și escaladă, precum și alte experiențe în mijlocul naturii.
Pensiunea oferă mic dejun, la solicitarea turiștilor și plata unei taxe suplimentare.
Camera este cu pat dublu, cu posibilitate de suplimentare.
Camera este dotată cu baie cu cabină de duș, uscător, prosoape și produse de igienă. Fiecare baie este decorată conform temei abordate în cameră.
Pensiunea dispune de locuri de parcare, gratuit.
Oaspeții au acces la internet, gratuit.
Camera este dotată cu televizor cu ecran plat, cu acces la nenumărate programe TV.
Camerele dispun de balcon.
Terasa exterioară, spațiu comun pentru oaspeții pensiunii și este locul perfect pentru relaxare, după o zi pe meleagurile Gorjului.
Pensiunea dispune de un spațiu comun, spațios, cu șemineu și mobilier sculptat. Salonul invită la mese și seri lungi cu familia și prietenii.
Terasa exterioară, spațiu comun pentru oaspeții pensiunii și este locul perfect pentru relaxare, după o zi pe meleagurile Gorjului.
Bucătăria este spațiu comun pentru toți cei cazați în cele 6 camere. Aceasta este complet mobilată și utilată.
Locația pune la dispoziția oaspeților spațiu pentru grătar.
Oaspeții au la dispoziție informații cu privire la oportunitățile de petrecere a timpului liber la Baia de Fier și în județul Gorj.
Pensiunea pune la dispoziția oaspeților un laptop, copiator pentru situații urgente.
Cancellations can be made free of charge within 7 days of booking, and a cancellation at a later date will result in a refund of half of the booking amount or the loss of the deposit. Cancellations caused by the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic require a full refund.
The access of pets to the premises of the guesthouse is strictly prohibited.

The Olaru family
Casa, inspirată din arhitectura neo-românească și influențată de casele țărănești prin ornamente folosite sub diverse interpretări, invită la experimentarea unei vieți simple, dar în confort.
Dincolo de fiecare ușă găsești o poveste, exprimată prin simboluri tradiționale puternice, fiind conștienți că arta ne poate influența pozitiv.
În Pensiunea ”Casa Olarilor” există camera SOL, care este concepută cu gândul la origini, continuăm cu ZBOR și avem povestea rădăcinilor, dar și a depărtării de cuib. Urcăm treptele și descoperim patru camere cu semnificații esențiale pentru viața unui om: apă, soare, lună și natură. Nimic nu este pus la întâmplare. Mai multe piese de mobilier au fost expuse la Castelul Cantacuzino, într-un eveniment special, în anul 2020.
Pensiunea dispune, momentan, de șase camere, cu baie proprie și balcon și multiple facilități.
Salonul, bucătăria și terasa sunt spații cu personalitate, perfecte pentru legarea unor noi prietenii la căldura șemineului în zilele reci, ori în terasa exterioară, de la primele zile calde până toamna târziu.
